Warehouses, industrial units and larger retail sites are the natural home for this size. Packaging, pallets, cardboard, insulation and fit-out waste are all bulky and light, which is exactly what a skip this size is designed to swallow.
It also suits a large-scale property clearance where several rooms of furniture are coming out at once.
Not a domestic option in most cases. It needs a yard, a car park or a site to stand on, and it is a poor buy for anything with weight to it. If you are unsure whether your access will take it, tell us the dimensions before booking rather than after.
Where it stands. On your own driveway or private land, no permit is needed. On a public road, pavement or verge it needs one from Doncaster Council, which you apply for. We will tell you exactly what to ask for and what it involves. The permits page explains the process and timings.
Describe the job on 01302 490 249 and we will tell you which size actually fits, including if a smaller one would do.
