1. Work out what you are throwing away
Start with the waste, not the skip. What comes out of a bathroom is heavy and compact; what comes out of a loft is bulky and light, and they want different sizes even when the rooms are the same size. If you have no idea, describe the job on 01302 490 249 and we will size it. If you would rather work it out yourself first, the skip sizes guide puts every size in bin bags.
2. Get a price and a date
We give you the figure for that skip, that waste type and that location. It is a real price rather than a starting-from one, and nothing is added later unless the job itself changes. At the same time we agree a delivery day. If you need it urgently, say so on the phone rather than through the form.
3. We deliver it
It goes where you want it, on the day agreed. Worth mentioning before the lorry arrives: soft ground that a loaded skip will sink into, low branches or cables over the drop point, and anything you would rather not have clipped. If it is going on the road rather than your land, the Doncaster Council permit has to be in place first, and that application is made by you.
4. You fill it
Take your time. Most people fill a skip over several days rather than in one go, and there is no rush from our end. Two rules: keep everything level with the top rail, and check the banned list before loading anything you are unsure about. Putting the heavy material flat on the bottom rather than tipping it in one corner will get noticeably more in.
5. We collect it
Ring us when you are done. The load goes to a licensed facility to be sorted, with as much pulled out for recycling as the material allows. As a registered waste carrier we stay accountable for where it ends up, and if you are a business that needs duty of care paperwork for your records, ask and we will provide it.
That is the whole process
Ring 01302 490 249 or send us the details and we will get it booked in.
