Responsible Waste Disposal
As a registered waste carrier (licence CBDU332611), we are legally required to handle and dispose of the waste we collect correctly. Everything we take away goes to permitted waste facilities, never to unauthorised sites.
Recycling What We Can
Wherever practical, waste is sorted so that materials can be recycled or recovered rather than sent to landfill. Inert materials such as soil, brick, concrete and hardcore can often be recycled into aggregate, which is why we suggest keeping heavy inert loads separate where you can. See our soil and rubble skip hire.
Keeping Loads Clean Helps
You can help us recycle more by keeping restricted items out of your skip and, where practical, separating different types of waste. Our what can go in a skip guide explains what is and is not allowed.
Waste That Cannot Go in a Skip
Some items, such as electricals, fridges, chemicals and asbestos, must be handled separately for safety and environmental reasons. We can advise on the right route for these when you book.
Your Duty of Care
Anyone who produces waste has a legal duty of care to make sure it is passed to a licensed carrier. Using a registered carrier like us, and keeping your paperwork, keeps you on the right side of the law. Read more on our duty of care page.
