107,000 Trees: Greening the City of Doncaster
Doncaster is quietly becoming a greener place to live. City of Doncaster Council runs a programme called the Tree Challenge, part of its wider Trees for Doncaster work. Since 2021 the programme has planted 107,541 new trees across the borough. That is a substantial amount of new woodland, hedging and street planting taking root in parks, verges and community spaces.
